Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best well-known for his part in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his time in college Christopher Meloni was attracted to the world of acting. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared in both films and television, but it was his character on the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large admirers. His ability to play characters on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of viewers. He was the character of the serial killer on his debut television show and later played the role of an NYPD detective. Because of his portrayal on the small screen, he's won several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most distinctive face features is thought to have been the piercing blue eyes that have helped him portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. He was featured in 2006 when he appeared in the People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
